Quote of the day, 17 September 2010

“Windows 7, Brilliant operating system! Great performance, one where for the first time in history all the backdoors are actually part of the functionality. The first OS where the transition of control from hacker to user is smooth and seamless. Brilliant and beautiful – sure your private data’s wide open, but consider this – is it really gone?

No, you still have your private pictures of you and your wife, you still have your bank account information, so what’s there to complain about? Nothing missing, was there a speed or performance hit, any intrusive proof or evidence someone was even in, anything broken? No? Great, relax then, it’s not a problem. Another satisfied customer, just relax and enjoy it.” – Khalid Bey Maghribi

  1. So with Windows 7 all info is easily available to anyone with a minimum working knowledge of computers???

Eshalon has all our info anyway.

  2. PS: I am not hostile toward individual Muslims. I have extended family that is Muslim, dear friends that are Muslim and I’ve dated Allah knows how many Muslim men. What I am wary of is certain problematic ideology that can be found in Quran that is not taken metaphorically but rather quite literally by millions of people. I’ve yet to meet one Muslim in person who does not admit that there are wrong and anti-spiritual ideas in the Quran in addition to good ones.

Moreover, there are inhumane customs that are practiced in cultures where Islam is predominant and despite those customs not being prescribed in Quran, prominant Sheikhs and Imams from those regions will nonetheless justify them and give “evidence” from Quran and Hadith for them.

There is an intertwining of this religion with surrounding backwards cultures that is not good and to extricate the 2 from one another is proving close to impossible and it’s also spreading worldwide.

The opposition to women Imams is one such example, I’m sure you must’ve been a reader of Muslimwakeup.com back in the day.

I think the attention that has been brought to this religion in recent years is a good think and will in fact FORCE it to reform, inshallah.
