For some reason, some people’s presence tends to touch me a great deal, almost hauntingly.
A friendship thats somewhat improbable. Sometimes there is a touch of eros, in a “it would never work out” sort of way but still the lingering trace of desire buried on purpose.
Sometimes there is no eros, just a strong affinity with that person’s presence.
It is much like hitting a tuning fork and placing it next to something that reverberates on the same frequency but a different octave.
There are people I miss, even if their actual roles in my life were small. Perhaps this is the greatest complement, to be missed by someone or to haunt them.
